We started our school in 2006 under a franchise.
We left the franchise and started our own school, Insurance School of Texas in 2016. We wrote our own study manuals and put together our own practice exams.
Both of which are the most Texas state exam-specific materials available.

Tracie Lampson
CEO & Main Instructor
Tracie has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She is the co-founder of Lampson Retirement Solutions, WTF Podcast and LS Metals & Coins. Over the course of her career Tracie has made numerous television appearances, co-authored 2 books and received a plethora of recognition awards from carriers. In 2025 she acquired the school to help others find success in an industry that is her true passion.
Rahnie Sandhu
Chief Financial Officer
Rahnie Sandhu is the CFO of Insurance School of Texas and co-founder of Lampson Retirement Solutions and the WTF Podcast. He joined ISOT in 2025, bringing decades of experience in business strategy and financial operations to the education and licensing industry. With a deep passion for empowering others and a sharp eye for sustainable growth, Rahnie plays a pivotal role in the school’s continued success. His transition into the world of insurance education was inspired by a shared vision with Tracie Lampson—to build a school that equips future agents with real-world knowledge and long-term support.
Makenzie Smith – Senior Marketing & Operations Coordinator
MaKenzie Smith is the Marketing and Operations Coordinator at Insurance School of Texas. She joined the team in 2025 and quickly became essential to the school’s growth. From driving marketing efforts to streamlining day-to-day operations, MaKenzie ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her focus on efficiency, branding, and student experience helps ISOT stay organized, connected, and ready to serve.
Sarah Grider – Client Relations & Executive Assistant
Sarah Grider is the Administrative and Scheduling Coordinator at Insurance School of Texas. She joined the team in 2025 and plays a key role in keeping the school organized and on track. From managing class calendars to handling daily administrative tasks, Sarah ensures that instructors, students, and operations stay aligned and running smoothly.
Monica Perez – Office & Financial Services Coordinator
Monica Perez is the Office and Financial Services Coordinator at Insurance School of Texas. She joined the team in 2025 and works behind the scenes to manage the school’s billing, vendor accounts, and internal financial processes. From tracking invoices to supporting administrative operations, Monica plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.
Chris Parker – Independent Instructor
Chris has been licensed in the insurance industry for over 24 years, spending most of that time in personal sales and teaching at Insurance School of Texas for over 7 years.
