DISCLAIMER & TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT

This Disclaimer & Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the Insurance School of Texas (“ISOT”) website, course registration, and participation in ISOT programs. By accessing this website or enrolling in any ISOT course, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or register for courses. ISOT reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
1. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All content, materials, text, graphics, images, videos, software, and other intellectual property displayed on the ISOT website or provided in ISOT courses (“Materials”) are owned or licensed by ISOT and are protected under copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, or use Materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from ISOT, except for limited personal, non-commercial use.
2. Class Attendance, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
By enrolling, you agree to the following:
Missed Class: Advance notice is required before the start of the first class session to remain eligible for rescheduling.
Rescheduling: One complimentary reschedule is allowed with proper notice. Additional reschedules require a $25 non-refundable fee and are subject to class availability.
Refunds: All registrations are non-refundable, except in cases of (a) medical emergency or serious illness (with physician’s note) or (b) death of an immediate family member (with official documentation). Documentation must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the missed class. Refund approval is at ISOT’s sole discretion.
Requests for reschedules or refunds must be made by phone at (713) 589-9275 during business hours. Email or social media requests are not guaranteed a response.
3. Media Release & Filming Policy
ISOT may photograph or film classroom sessions for marketing, social media, and promotional use.
Students will be given a Media Consent Form on Day 1 to indicate:

❌ Decline any filming or photography
ISOT will make reasonable efforts to honor stated preferences; however, incidental appearances may occur in wide or background shots. Filming of instructors and general classroom activity may occur regardless of individual consent.
4. Code of Conduct & Dismissal Policy
Students must maintain a professional, respectful learning environment. Prohibited conduct includes:

Disruption of instruction

Disrespect toward instructors, staff, or students

Unauthorized recording

Harassment, threats, or violence

Substance use during class
ISOT reserves the right to remove any student from a course without refund for violations. Decisions are final and at ISOT’s sole discretion.
5. Trademarks
“Insurance School of Texas” and related marks are trademarks owned by ISOT. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
6. Links to Third-Party Sites
ISOT’s website may contain links to external sites. ISOT is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such sites.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website, its contents, and ISOT services are provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ISOT does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ISOT, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from your use of this website, course participation, or reliance on any materials provided, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive.
9. Privacy Policy
ISOT collects personally identifiable information (“PII”) only when voluntarily provided during registration, purchases, or certification processing.
PII may include your name, address, email, phone number, license number, and payment information. We use PII to:

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share PII with trusted third parties as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations.

10. Data Security
ISOT implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and ISOT cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Texas.
12. Termination
ISOT may suspend website access or terminate this Agreement at any time without notice for violations of these terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law survive termination.
