  • Complete Pre Licensing Course

Once you have completed your pre licensing course you must then take your Texas insurance licensing examination. It is important to note that there is an application fee that you must cover when enrolling to take your insurance license examination. When you sign up for your Texas license examination through PearsonVue at (www.pearsonvue.com) you should have the following information prepared: 

  • Full Legal Name 
  • Address 
  • SSN
  • Phone Number 
  • Date of Birth 
  • Name of Examination(s) 
  • Preferred Exam Date
  • Preferred Exam Center Location
  • Get Fingerprints 

In accordance with strict insurance license requirements in Texas you must get fingerprinted to successfully apply for your Texas insurance licence. These fingerprints will be submitted to  the Texas Department Insurance. 

  • Apply For Your Insurance License

After you undergo insurance school, take the correct pre licensing course, pass your examination, and get your fingerprints squared away you are officially ready to apply for your Texas insurance license. You can submit your application for your licence by submitting an application electronically through Sircon(www.sircon.com). You can then track the status of your application via the NPN number that will be assigned to you when you first submit your application. 

  • Continued Education

Once you officially have obtained your license and complete the Texas insurance license requirements successfully, you will be required to keep up on insurance school education through Continuing Education (CE) Credits.
